GENERAL CONDITIONS

All our tours are private and designed just for the customer and her/his group of friends or family. PT Experiences follows a pre-settled itinerary while leading the tour, which can be changed, whenever possible, to match the customer’s specific interests. This may result on additional cost for the customer, and the final itinerary and cost should be agreed between PT Experiences and the customer before the reservation is confirmed.

  • All prices shown include VAT and are valid until June 30th, 2025 for a group of up to 4 participants.

  • For private tours with more than 4 participants the prices shown are subject to change. The customer must contact PT Experiences in order to get a revised quote.

  • Pick-up and drop-off location can be changed under the customer’s request. Depending on distance, this may result on extra cost for the costumer. The final price should be agreed between PT Experiences and the customer before the reservation is confirmed.

  • Full day tours, whenever possible, can be changed to half day tours (5 hours) under the customer’s request. In such case, a discount over the full day rate will be applied, and should be settled before the reservation is confirmed.

TRANSPORT & LUGGAGE

Prices shown assume that private transportation during all tours is provided by PT Experiences. However, if the client wishes to use a rented vehicle or their own transport this is also possible. The customer must contact us in order to get a revised final price.

  • On tours with a duration of 2 days and more, PT Experiences will inform the customer about the maximum luggage capacity of the vehicle (normally 3 big suitcases + 1 medium sized bag). PT Experiences can not be held responsible for not being able to fit oversized or excess luggage inside the vehicle, whenever these were not previously mentioned by the customer.

  • When using private transport provided by PT Experiences, the final price includes the driver/guide services, fuel, toll and parking fees. Our vehicles are provided with air conditioning, free wi-fi and cellphone charger.

  • PT Experiences can not be held responsible for items or belongings left inside the vehicle, and for any personal items lost, damaged or stollen during the tours.

INSURANCES & RESPONSIBLE TOURS

  • PT Experiences has susbscribed all insurance & liability required under the portuguese law, and is granted the seal “Turismo de Natureza - tourism in nature” for responsible conduct when leading tours inside any of the portuguese national and natural parks and other protected areas.

  • We follow the recommendations of the portuguese public health department regarding the Covid-19 pandemics mitigation measures (Clean & Safe seal).

WHAT IS & WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE FINAL PRICE

Besides transport, the final price includes private guiding services inside monuments and during walking tours and/or hiking trails. The languages available are English, French, Spanish & Portuguese.

  • Unless otherwise mentioned, all meals, monument entrance fees, winery admissions, hotel and other accommodations during tours that require overnight stays, and all not previously agreed additional and personal expenses, are not included in the final price.

  • Third party provided optional activities (such as boat tours, bike & horse rentals, cooking classes, wine tasting experiences, snorkeling, canyoning & rafting, etc) are also not included in the final price. PT Experiences can inform the customer about the availability and additional cost of any recommended optional activities during the selected tours.

RESERVATION (BOOKING) & CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservations and final price must be confirmed by PT Experiences by email. PT Experiences is entitled to ask for an anticipated percentage over the tour final price in order to confirm the reservation and to prepare the itinerary.

  • No penalties will be applied to the customer for cancellations made 72 hours prior to the reservation date, in which case all anticipated payments will be fully refunded by PT Experiences.

  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the reservation date may imply the loss of the anticipated payment, unless PT Experiences accepts the cancellation motive and/or if PT Experiences and the customer agree on changing the tour date.

  • If, by any reason, PT Experiences is unable to honor the contracted services, the customer will be immediatly granted the full refund of all payments made in advance.

  • Payment methods accepted: in Euros (IBAN bank transfer and/or cash) or credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, Union Pay, Google Pay or Apple Pay).
